Open to teams of 3 to 4 people
Ages 16 and up
Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place
Double elimination format
Regulation half rubber balls provided
Fee: $25/person - includes t-shirt, breakfast and lunch

Fifteen teams from Georgia and South Carolina competed in the 5th annual Summerfest Half-Rubber Tournament last Saturday at Ambuc Park on Sallie Mood Drive. The Islanders defeated Savannah’s Martin Wears Prado in the championship game 2 – 0, winning $515. Martin Wears Prado pocketed $330 for its efforts. Charleston’s Four Bullets took third place and $200. The Four Bullets’ Greg McNamara won the Home Run Derby and $120, hitting 6 dingers during the course of the tournament.
